Calvary Baptist Academy began in 1981 as school for church members and was first located on San Antonio Street in New Braunfels, Texas, using the self-paced ACE (Accelerated Christian Education) curriculum. In 1996, the school was moved to a temporary location in Schertz.

In 1998, the Lord blessed by providing over thirteen acres of property just outside of New Braunfels, and in 1999 the school moved with the church to its present location on Klein road.

In 2007, Calvary Baptist Academy expanded the school by adopting the Abeka curriculum and incorporating their excellent video-based teaching into the classrooms. In 2019, the school began on its current path to move to in-person teaching and grow the enrollment.

In 2023, Calvary Baptist Academy became a 501c3 non-profit as it seeks to make a greater impact in the New Braunfels community. God has blessed the efforts of so many over our lengthy history, and our impact has continued to increase, reaching dozens of families and hundreds of students in our 40+ years of school ministry.
